New Home Program Not Currently Accepting Applications

East Central Minnesota Habitat for Humanity is not currently seeking applications from interested individuals and families for our New Home Program for our 2026 year builds. Watch for Special Announcements.

Through the New Home Program, we partner with families in the community who are in need of decent, affordable housing. Habitat staff and volunteers work alongside families to build homes that accommodate needs, allowing future homeowners to cultivate strength, stability, and self-reliance throughout the process.

Habitat enables home ownership by allowing familes to purchase their homes with an affordable mortgage. Families that partner with Habitat also contribute to Habitat’s mission by volunteering and working on the construction of their homes, which we call “sweat equity”.
