Mark Haseth brings over 30 years of experience as a special educator to his role as Board Chairperson. Throughout his career, he has developed expertise in advocacy, collaboration, and organizational leadership, driven by the conviction that all individuals deserve equitable opportunities to succeed. Mark’s leadership background includes service in public education, teacher advocacy, and his local church, including experience in contract negotiations and board service. He is dedicated to advancing the mission of East Central Minnesota Habitat For Humanity through thoughtful governance and a steadfast belief that everyone deserves a safe, affordable place to call home. A longtime resident of Cambridge, Mark enjoys spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren.

Hello,

My name is Mike Parker and I have been serving with Habitat for Humanity since 2001

as a volunteer in various roles, some with Twin Cities Habitat, and much more with East

Central Minnesota Habitat for Humanity. I have been married to Ange Parker for 47

years and we have one daughter and one son, 4 grandchildren, and 3 great

grandchildren. We are blessed to have our family living close and we love every

moment we share with them. We are also followers of Jesus and we want to serve Him

in everything we do. As for hobbies, I am an avid motorcycle and mountain bike rider,

and hope to continue those activities for years to come.

Having spent most of my life in Minnesota, I'm proud to call this area home. I spent many years as an RN in a myriad of different roles including the Army, management, hospital and teaching I then moved into the healthcare software space for 23 years.

I’m honored to be a member of the board of Habitat for Humanity. I believe everyone deserves a safe, decent place to call home. I want to use my time, skills, and experience to help strengthen a mission that creates real, lasting impact in communities. I’m excited to support an organization that brings people together to build hope, stability, and opportunity for families.

Chad Faur has spent his career helping individuals and families achieve the dream of homeownership. As a mortgage lender specializing in residential, construction, renovation, and affordable housing financing, Chad enjoys finding creative lending solutions and educating clients so they can make informed financial decisions with confidence.

His passion for housing extends well beyond his profession. Chad believes that safe, affordable housing is the foundation for strong families and thriving communities, which is why he volunteers with Habitat for Humanity. He is committed to helping create opportunities for families to build stability, equity, and a place they are proud to call home. Whether he's serving on committees, assisting with financing questions, or supporting Habitat projects, Chad enjoys being part of an organization that makes a lasting difference in people's lives.

Outside of work and volunteering, Chad is actively involved in his community through local housing and economic development initiatives. He serves on multiple housing-related boards and committees, working to expand affordable housing opportunities and strengthen communities throughout East Central Minnesota.

When he's not working, you'll likely find Chad enjoying the outdoors, spending time with family and friends, traveling, or taking on his next home improvement or construction project. He believes that building strong relationships is just as important as building homes, and he is grateful for every opportunity to serve his community both professionally and personally.

Karla Patrick RN, BSN is the Community Health

Improvement Specialist and Wellness Coordinator at

Cambridge Medical Center, part of Allina Health.

Karla is a graduate of Bethel University in St. Paul,

Minnesota with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. For

the past 32 years she has worked in various roles at

Cambridge Medical Center including bedside

Nursing, Education, and Learning & Development

Specialist. Karla is passionate about helping others

become the healthiest version of themselves

through whole person care. Karla’s interest in Habitat for

Humanity stems from her volunteering in the Roseville area.

She is energized through helping families find safe and quality

housing. Outside of work you

will find her enjoying life with her husband, adult

children and four grandchildren, traveling, gardening, and

reading.

Joe Mulford was appointed as the President of Pine Technical and Community College on July 1, 2015. President Mulford has served Minnesota State Colleges and Universities for 27 years and in higher education for nearly 30.  He has held positions as Minnesota State system

director for education and industry partnerships; Hennepin Technical College as dean of emergency services, manufacturing, and customized training; Anoka Technical College as dean of institutional services, customized training, and emergency services; Century College as building and industrial trades customized training coordinator; and Globe College as chief academic officer. 

President Mulford grew up in a small town in West Central Minnesota and for the last

24 years has resided in Mora, Minnesota.  Outside of his higher education career, he provides public service as a wildland firefighter over the last 17 years and has owned and operated multiple private sector businesses across a variety of industries including the aquaculture

industry and residential rental properties.

President Mulford holds an associate’s degree from Moorhead State University, a

bachelor’s degree from St. Cloud State University, and graduate degrees from Metropolitan State University, and the University of Nebraska at Lincoln.
